David began his publishing career in June of 1990 as the Atlantic Canada Sales Representative with West Publishing Company. In 1996, The Thomson Corporation purchased West and David was kept on as the Hardside Sales Representative for Nelson Canada. David and his wife Shelly moved to Toronto in August 1997 when he took the position of Marketing Manager for the Nelson Canadian Business list. He joined Houghton Mifflin in December of 1999 as their Senior Marketing Manager. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing from Saint Mary's University in Halifax. His interests include hiking, basketball, and tennis. And, please don't forget those Toronto Maple Leafs! |
